Yesterday we all went out to Hardware Ranch to have a look at Santa's "reindeer". The herd is only about half its size right now, there hasn't been enough snow yet to get them all to come down. The big bulls are the last to come and the first to leave. Both kids did great, Robby cried a little because all he wanted to do was get down and play in the snow. Grace was pretty excited that she got to "ride" a horse.

Thanksgiving 2
After having Thanksgiving dinner this year we went down to St. George for the weekend. We forgot the baby backpack so that pretty much killed our hiking plans. We still went out and had a fun time at the Little Black Mountain petroglyphs, dinosaur tracks, and Fort Pierce out in Warner Valley.

UEA Weekend
We went down to St. George for UEA weekend, we could not believe how hot is was down there. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend, we attempted to hike to Lone Pine Arch on Friday but had a little trouble finding it. By the time we found it we didn't have enough time to actually hike up to it. Saturday we went to the farmers market at Tuacahn in the morning and out to Quail Creek Reservoir in the afternoon. My parents and Mel and Adam's family stopped by late Saturday night on their way back from California so we hung out a little with them Sunday morning and then went on a hike up the Red Cliffs in the afternoon.

Hobbit Caves
A needed a picture of myself for my online portfolio webpage, so we went up Logan Canyon to take some pictures. The colors and weather were amazing. It's a shame, by the next weekend the leaves were gone and it was cold. Glad we made it up there when we did.
SLC for the night
Around the first of the month we went down and stayed with Jim and Cindy in SLC for the night. We had a fun time, we watched a rather bizarre b-movie after Robby went to sleep and went for a walk in the SLC cemetery that next morning.
Homecoming
My parents came up for homecoming this year. We went out for breakfast at Angie's and watched the parade.
A3 Trip
For our anniversary trip this year we took quite the little road trip. One night in St. George, two nights in Vegas, one night in Santa Monica, one night in Balboa, one night at Grannie and Grandpa's in Dana Point, and finally one more night in St. George. We had the greatest time and my parents got a chance to spend the whole week with Little Robby. It was good to get away but we sure did miss the little guy.

Ouch!
Little Robby had a hard head first slide into third playing t-ball today. He's a very aggressive base runner. Yeah, he might be a little young to play but he is very advanced for his age (baby genius). We are so proud of him, hope we can get the stains out of his uniform.

Logan Canyon Picnic
Today Jim and Cindy came up to Logan and we had a picnic up Logan Canyon. Thanks for bringing all the yummy food up!
Matt's birthday is in a little over a week so Jim and Cindy wanted to celebrate while we were all together. The canyon is so green and beautiful and the weather was perfect. It's pretty cool to see the amount of water flowing in the Logan River, I've never seen it this high. It's worse than it was when he went for a hike the other week.
Golf video
The video is kind of long but really cute at the end. It's a lot of fun to see these two get together.

Old Juniper
Yesterday we went for a hike up Logan Canyon on the Old Juniper Trail. Little Robby wanted to try out his new pack.
The mountains were beautiful and the weather was perfect.
We never thought we would run into flooding this high up but the trail turned into a small stream about a mile up the trail.
Without a baby on my back we would have been able to jump over this but we turned around and went down to the River Trail and the Stokes Nature Center instead.

Memorial Weekend
On Friday we went out to the Little Black Mountain petroglyphs with Jim, Cindy and Bodhi. Pretty cool site with lots of neat petroglyphs. We had lunch out there and came home and went straight to the pool.
Robby loved being in the pool.

Jenny and Randy came in late Friday night so Saturday he headed out to Snow Canyon to do some hiking. We didn't really hike that far but it felt much longer carrying Robby in the baby bjorn and walking on soft sand. I was completely whipped after that.
Both Jim and Jenny's birthday's were in the up-coming week so we celebrated both of their birthdays. For some reason we celebrated Jenny's the night before Jim's even though Jenny's came three days later than his. Jim didn't seem bothered by it one bit.

Sunday we left little Robby with Jim and Cindy and went down to Mesquite for the lunch buffet and some bowling. Randy dominated, he didn't have much competition though. Randy is a man of all trades, he also whooped me in ping pong.
We had such a fun weekend, it was great to get to know Randy some more and it's never a dull moment hanging out with Jenny. Jim, Cindy, and Bodhi are awesome to have around to, we love spending time with you guys. Can't wait til next time!

Day At The Park
It was such nice day Jim took out the motorcycle for a ride up to Logan to visit. We had Grace for the afternoon so we went over to the park to play.
Grace loves the slide!
I rode the angry dolphin with Little Robby.
Grace and Little Robby had a good time hanging out after the park. Grace enjoyed trying to lock us out of the house although her plan backfired every time when she locked herself inside and then wanted to come out.
Grace showing us some of her dance moves.

Spring Break
For spring break this year we went down to St. George. It was so nice to be outside in the warm weather and sunshine. It was 77 degrees the first day so we went to Snow Canyon and went for a small hike.
The next day we went to a pioneer museum and got a malt at Frostop drive-inn afterwards. Amy and Gary were passing through from SLC so they stopped by and met little Robby for the first time, it was really great to see them.
Little Robby started rolling over while we were down there so now he can show off his little rat tail. He was a great little traveler on this trip too. We had a great weekend and can't wait to get back down there as soon as we can.

LA Trip
At the beginning of the month we all went to Los Angeles for a week so Karli could attend a training for her housing counselor job. The training was very beneficial and she learned a lot of neat stuff.
Karli had class everyday from 8:30am-4:30pm so it left a lot of time for Robby and I to explore downtown.
We took pictures of buildings, rode the Angels Flight, and found some good found at the Grand Central Market. Little Robby is an excellent traveler, it was hard to get him to sleep the first two nights but that was about it. We had dinner with Grannie and Grandpa (my mom's parents) one night where they got to meet little Robby for the first time. We had a great time, LA is an awesome city.

Emily & Cindy's Birthday Party
My sister Jenny came to visit from Phoenix. We decided to have a birthday party for Emily and Cindy since we would all be together.
Little Robby loves spending time with his Aunt Emily and Grammy
Jenny is always willing to help open the presents.
Robby and Grace colored some picture while we visited.
Matt was entertained playing solitaire and Simon on the iPad.
I made some delicious red velvet cupcakes.
Grace was thoroughly entertained with the birthday balloons.
Jenny got to meet her nephew for the first time. Her niece and nephew love playing with her because she is great with kids!
