Mr. and Mrs. Smith

We had such a great time at Jenny and Randy's wedding, it was such a beautiful ceremony. I got to meet Randy's family and even some of Karli's family that I have not met before. We are so happy for them and so glad that we could be a part of it. Lil Robby did a great job of carrying this cute little "Here Comes the Bride" sign right before Jenny came down the isle, it was priceless.

Spring Break Trip

Since Jenny and Randy's wedding was so close to spring break we decided to take a bunch of time off and make a vacation out of it. First, we went down and stayed in St. George a couple days before heading down to the wedding in Phoenix. We went to Snow Canyon, the dinosaur tracks at Warner Valley and spent the rest of the time just relaxing or preparing for the next part of the trip down to Phoenix. The day after the wedding we went to a spring training game and saw the Red's beat the Mariner's. It was nice to be out in the hot sun, almost too hot. On our way back from Phoenix to St. George we decided to take the scenic route and swung by the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was a first for both Karli and lil Robby. It was kind of cold but not the slightest bit crowded which was really nice. Lil Robby's first reaction to walking up to the edge "Wow, that is really cool". I was one proud daddy. I didn't think a 3 year would appreciate something like that and the guy next to us was surprised by his reaction too. Back in St. George we hung out around town and played in the fountains at Town Square. Of course this was followed by onion rings and a malt at Frostop. The next day we went out to Gunlock Reservoir and just about filled it up by throwing a massive amount of rocks in it. We went out to Quail Creek the next day but it was cold and windy so we went over and hung out at the Hurricane Park. It was an awesome trip and we were sad to see it end. It was hard to come back to Logan and get snowed on soon after we got back. I was really getting used to being in shorts and flip flops.
