This weekend we took trip with some friends to visit a good friend of mine that lives in La Grande, Oregon. We had so much fun with some of my favorite people in the world.

Halloween
Robby was Spiderman for Halloween, we had an awesome time trick or treating and spending time with some of Karli's family from out of town.
Robby really gets into the spirit of Halloween. I can't count how many times we visited the local Halloween stores last month, just walking around and looking at the scary things was his favorite activity. He really got into decorating the house but in the end the decorations weren't nearly creepy enough for his taste. He likes creepy stuff but when it comes down to it he's kind of a scaredy cat

Crystal Hot Springs
We had a great time yesterday day soaking in the hot pots and sliding down the hot water slides. We went out to the car to grab some sandwiches and were surprised by what I thought at first was a car backfiring.
Three teens in this truck weren't paying attention and didn't notice the truck in front of them was turning left into the parking lot. They served to the left (clipping the trucks front left fender) to avoid ramming directly into the back of the truck and ran into these trees right in front of where we were parked. They were actually pretty lucky to walk away without anyone get seriously hurt. It was pretty crazy to have something like this happen right before your eyes. It's kind of hard to tell but it snapped the first tree it hit, it was standing about where the cab meets the bed of the truck.

Spiral Jetty
Karli had training for a new job yesterday so the boy and I went out on an adventure. We drove out to the Golden Spike National Monument for a little picnic and education about the transcontinental rail road followed by a drive down a very muddy dirt road to check out the Spiral Jetty. Couldn't have asked for a better day, such a cool little drive from Logan.

Christmas
Looking back I didn't take that many pictures around the holidays this year. Here are a few pictures of Christmas Day at our house. We spent Christmas Eve with my parents for brunch and then Jim and Cindy's for dinner. We drove back from SLC that night and had Karli's family over Christmas Day.
